This is our home. We are the first Peace Corps volunteers to live in this community – the first foreigners, actually. The house and area were barren when we first arrived one year ago, but a lot has changed over the time. In the future, I’ll write a more in-depth post about the DIY and hacks we have done, but for now, here’s a brief introduction video to our home and garden. Mwaiseni! Welcome!

Peace Corps Zambia – House Tour Video
Published by Lianne Bronzo
I'm a Korean American adoptee who moved back to Korea in 2012 to teach English and reconnect with my birth family. I thought I'd go back to America and follow the typical American dream, but I discovered a lifestyle of travel and fulfilling work. Since leaving Korea in 2015, I've been finding new ventures around the world, traveling slowly while gaining meaningful experiences and connections. Currently, I'm serving as an aquaculture extension agent with the Peace Corps in rural Zambia. I write about culture, travel hacks, my adoption story, and ways you can travel long-term on a budget while not skimping on experiences. View all posts by Lianne Bronzo
