I’ve been recording one-second video clips every day since 2014. This has been a great way to preserve those memories from all of our travels. I highly recommend the 1 Second Everyday app to do the same! You will enjoy looking back at those videos. There is something beautiful to capture every single day, no matter how mundane. Check out my other One Second Every Day video clips!
August 2017 was an eventful month. We road tripped from the Red Centre of Australia up to tropical and lush Darwin. We did a few Help Exchanges such as building websites at a plant nursery, walking a dog on the beach at sunset, and helping with random household tasks while participating in their lives and meeting some lovely families. We sadly sold our beloved car that we lived out of for the past year, sincerely hoping that she is being put to good use now. We didn’t have a distinct plan after Australia, but we decided to go to Bali again since the flight was only $60 and why not? To be honest, Bali isn’t my favorite place to travel though it is undeniable a beautiful country with even more beautiful people and culture. I want them to remain how they are, not be overrun with tourists capitalizing on their land. But I did enjoy our Help Exchange building structures with cob and recycled material!
