One day, I’ll get around to adding photos to the blog posts. I’m still adjusting to being back home and working again. I love my job and it’s nice to be back. My boss and co-workers are incredibly kind and supportive of my wanderlust self. I am forever grateful that they let me take two months off so I can feed my traveling hungry spirit. I am happy to be back and continually learning but I see something different in the near future. I want to work in Korea, save up, and then volunteer somewhere else in another country, say volunteering in a hostel and then an organic farm in New Zealand? We’ll see.

I'm a Korean American adoptee who moved back to Korea in 2012 to teach English and reconnect with my birth family. I thought I'd go back to America and follow the typical American dream, but I discovered a lifestyle of travel and fulfilling work. Since leaving Korea in 2015, I've been finding new ventures around the world, traveling slowly while gaining meaningful experiences and connections. Currently, I'm serving as an aquaculture extension agent with the Peace Corps in rural Zambia. I write about culture, travel hacks, my adoption story, and ways you can travel long-term on a budget while not skimping on experiences. View all posts by Lianne Bronzo
